Choosing fabric by season

Lawn and cotton (summer): light and breathable for Pakistan's long hot season.
Linen (autumn, winter and spring): slightly heavier with a soft texture and rich printed colours. It is a strong choice from October to March, which is why printed linen suits are trending right now.
Khaddar and karandi (winter): thick and warm for colder cities like Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar.

Wash care: wash printed suits separately in cold water the first time.

Take a well-fitting old shirt to your tailor as a sample, decide neckline and sleeve length in advance, and ask the tailor to pre-wash the fabric if it is pure cotton to avoid shrinkage.
